Simon R Corrie
Simon Corrie completed his undergraduate degree in chemical engineering and PhD in physical chemistry at the University of Queensland, before undertaking postdoctoral studies at the HPV Research Laboratory at the University of Washington, Seattle. After further postdoctoral studies in Australia he joined the Chemical Engineering Department at Monash University in mid-2016 to establish the Nanosensor Engineering Lab. He is a recipient of the Australian Research Council's DECRA Award and is a chief investigator in the ARC Centre of Excellence in BioNano Science. His research interests lie in developing nano-particles and engineered proteins for applications in bio-sensing, bio-assays and medical devices.
