Erin Cutts The 45th Lorne Conference on Protein Structure and Function 2020

Erin Cutts

I am an Australian researcher, who has been working in the UK for the last 7 years. I completed undergraduate degrees in Science and Mathematics at the University of Adelaide, which included an Honours year working with Keith Shearwin. I then went to so a D. Phil in Structural Biology at the University of Oxford. I am currently a post-doc at the Institute of Cancer Research in London, working on the structure and function of the human condensin complexes. Condensin is a highly dynamic complex able to make DNA loops in an ATP dependent manner. To better understand how it works I use a combination of EM, biochemistry and single molecule assays.
